Babson College has always recognized the importance of embracing cultures and perspectives from around the world; we understand that entrepreneurial leaders come from a wide array of backgrounds and that this richness fuels learning, innovation, and global impact. Horn Library supports Inclusive Excellence through the creation of a collection of books, magazines, and media resources that promote an awareness and understanding of topics such as culture and ethnicity, religion, gender issues, sexuality, disabilities, and mental health.
What started as the "Community Collection" in the 2000s has since been integrated into the general collection. Older books may still have a Community Collection sticker on them. We continue to acquire books in these topic areas to foster inclusivity and belonging because we are a community that supports respectful debate, the convergence of ideas, and the positive, collaborative environment that thrives when everyone believes they are an essential, vital part of it.
Since 2022, we've been growing a print Wellness Collection to support students' mental health.
