Basic Search Tips
- Perfect for when one search criterion is enough!
- Type your search criteria in the box.
- If searching by ISSN enter number without a dash
- Click small green box and you'll arrive at the Search Results screen.
- You can narrow the search results using the side bar menu on results page
Advanced Search Tips 2
- Click ADVANCED SEARCH next to the search box
- Using the drop down menus you can add search terms for as many as 30 different criteria.
- To search on more than one term, combine your search terms by adding a Boolean operator (and, or, andnot) between search terms
- You can Add search terms or Add groups of search terms using the Add links
- Next you can limit your results by; Status, Serial Type, Content Type, Language of Text
- After adding all your search refinements, click Search
- You can further refine your search on the results page by using the side menu
- You can resort the results by any of the column headings
