Bloomberg Excel is only available on Cutler Center machines. Open the Bloomberg Program Files from the Windows icon on the tray at the bottom left of screen. In the Program Files folder, choose Install Office Add-in.
Login into Bloomberg, then open Excel and choose the Bloomberg Add-in.
The API Template library is a sophisticated Excel version of financial tools and displays in Bloomberg like Yield Curve views or company valuation models. Type XLTP in Bloomberg to browse and download their extensive set of models.

Use the Import Data button to access the Bloomberg Data Wizard. This app will walk you through the steps to download many types of data on a daily/weekly/monthly etc time frame in a simple step.
