        Provides access to:

  • Information about historic newspapers
  • Selected digitized newspaper pages 1836-1922 produced by the National Digital Newspaper Program
  • U.S. Newspaper Directory 1690-present
    • Lists libraries where newspapers can be found
    • Individual records provide links to view more titles from same geographical area
    • Search options include: keyword, date, geography (city, county, state), frequency of publication, ethnicity, language, press, and material type

            To access Title List:

            At opening screen, click on 8 databases link at top of page. 
            Select either Canadian Newstand or Proquest Newstand.
