1. In the SEARCH box, type in your keywords or search terms.
2. Use the drop down menus to search in specific fields, such as Company Entity, Geographic Terms, and Journal Name, and more.
3. Click Search.

If you are getting too few results, look at your options in the Search Modes and Expanders area. You may want to expand your search by checking Apply equivalent subjects or Apply related words. You can also search deeper in the articles themselves by checking Also search within the full text of the articles.
Finding Peer Reviewed journal articles in EBSCOhost
The easiest way to find articles from peer reviewed journals is to select Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals under Limit your results in Advanced Search.
Alternately, you can execute a command line search. To search for peer reviewed journals only, attach and RV Y to the end of your search. RV is the tag for peer reviewed and Y is the variable indicating "Yes."
Example: Searching for blood neoplasms AND RV Y will return the same results as searching for blood neoplasms with Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals checked under Limit your results.
What are Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) publications in EBSCOhost?
Peer reviewed is defined by EBSCO Publishing as follows:
Blind Peer Reviewed - (or Double Blind Peer Reviewed) - Articles appearing in a journal are sent outside of the journal's publishing or sponsoring organization for review by external reviewer(s), whereby the either author's identity or the reviewers' identity is unknown.
Editorial Board Peer Review - articles appearing in a journal are reviewed by an internal board of editors, not solely by one editor. The author's identity may be known or unknown.
Expert Peer Review - articles appearing in a journal are reviewed by experts (either internal or external to the journal) whose credentials are known and who are experts within the subject matter of the article under review. The author's identity may be known or unknown.
Use Boolean searching, truncation, wildcards, and proximity limiters to enhance your search.

Truncation
Use the asterisk (*)
Example: entrepreneur* will return articles that contain the root "entrepreneur" on its own and any variations: entrepreneurs, entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial, etc.
Wildcard
Use the question mark (?)
Example: wom?n will return variants of only one letter. A search for wom?n would return articles with "women" or "woman" or "womyn". Using ? at the end of a word will be ignored. If you want to find words with variants at the end, use the asterisk (*)
Proximity Searching
EBSCOhost uses both N and W for Near and Within operators. Examples:
tax N5 reform will return articles where the words tax and reform are no more than 5 words apart and in that order. For example, this search will match “tax reform” and “tax that has been submitted for reform”, etc.
tax W8 reform will return articles where the words tax and reform are no more than 8 words apart in any order. For example, this search would find items matching “tax reform” but also “reform of income tax”, etc.
