Much of the library, including stairways, is now one-way. Follow all posted signage for reconfigured foot traffic. Library seating has been de-densified for appropriate social distancing. Sit only where decals indicate. As with all public spaces on campus, masks must be worn. If you would like to clean your workspace, please ask for cleaning supplies at the Information Desk.
Please note that at this time, no visitors or alumni are permitted to use the library. Per the college's guidelines on nonessential visitors, only current students, faculty, and staff are allowed in the space.
To comply with current state regulations limiting capacity to 25% and to ensure social distancing requirements are maintained, seats in the library must now be booked via EMS.

Research Assistance: Research and Instruction Librarians are available to meet via phone, email, or online through WebEx Teams or WebEx.
Electronic Resources: All of the library's electronic resources continue to be available via the A-Z Database List with a Babson username and password. If you have access issues, please reach out to research@babson.edu.
Books and Periodicals: To request a print book or periodical, fill out this form, and you will receive a response within 1 day. Library materials can be delivered via campus mail or picked up via contactless pickup across from the Information Desk near the main exit. Materials can be returned via campus mail or by bringing them back to the library. All print materials will be quarantined for 4 days before being available to borrow again.
Technology Loans: Laptop chargers and other technology are available to borrow for 3 hours at a time from the Information Desk. Chargers will be cleaned after every return and will be available to borrow again immediately.
Course Reserves: If course reserves are needed, they can be checked out at the Information Desk. As with other print materials, they will be quarantined upon return and will be available to borrow again in 4 days.
Interlibrary Loan: Interlibrary Loan relies on the cooperation of libraries around the world to share information and materials. Due to the Coronavirus, service at all libraries has been impacted, meaning that Interlibrary loan services may be limited and there may be delays in the delivery of items.
At this time, only current students, faculty, and staff can enter the library. This change is due to Babson College’s policy to limit all nonessential visitors and business on all campus property in order to mitigate the exposure to our community. We look forward to the time when we can invite alumni and visitors back into the library. In the meantime, alumni can access select library databases off campus.
