Request a WEBnet Book

Did you find the book in the Library Catalog? You can place a request right in the Catalog to have it delivered to the Information Desk!

Click the Details button for the item you'd like to request in the search results.

Click Request Item (under the Keep button on the left).

Enter your Library ID (LIB # on your OneCard) and your PIN*.
Then click Request Item.

Your item should be available within 2-3 days, though that may vary.
You will receive an email when the book is available for pick-up.

* Don't know your PIN?

  • Ask at the Information Desk
  • Email library@babson.edu from your Babson email account.

Request a Book (non-WEBnet owned)

If you can't find the book you need in the Library Catalog, you still get it! Request the book through Interlibrary Loan (ILL).

What is ILL?
Basically, you request a book, article, book chapter, dissertation, etc. and we try to get it from another library.
It's delivered to the Library where you pick it up & return it.

The online system allows you to:

  • place requests for items,
  • track your requests,
  • request renewals for books,
  • and download the articles you requested.

How long does it take?

  • Books: approximately 1-2 weeks;
  • Articles: approximately 1-2 days, though may be longer.

Go to the Interlibrary Loan guide to log into the system and/or learn more about how to place a request.
