Use these sources to find key trade associations for your industry:
HINT: To search for associations on google try entering your search using the following example:
- site:*.org and restaurant association
- site:*.org and travel association
- Gale Directory Library National and International trade association directories.
- Business and Company Resource Center - Infotrac Use "Advanced Search" and choose associations from the drop down menu.
- Plunketts Research Online Find trade associations for each of the industry groups.
- Standard & Poor's NetAdvantage Look for the Industry Report; see the "Industry Rferences" portion of the report (just before the financial section.) The references include several key trade associations, as well as trade publications and other sources.
- ASAE and the Center for Association Leadership Information on associations: tools, books, programs. See the top link to "Resources by Professional Interest."
